Lines that go all the way back to China. People bashing you from all angles as you are lining up. Staff which stand there looking pretty, while people are stuck at the self checkouts for whatever reason. Quicker do just walk to burwood and back.

Excellent place to buy almost all products and you can buy Opal card and mobile sim cards.

A bit dated. Needs refreshing

Customers have to lean over stacks of boxes to look at items on shelves and pick what they need. And the person at express counter 6 around 8pm today was too high and mighty to even respond to a customer saying hello and asking her how she is. She responded with "Take the items out of the basket!!" (What happened to 'please' and 'thank you'?) We paid for our stuff, but didn't get a smile or thank you.
With people like this at counters, it's not surprising that customers would rather wait in a queue to self checkout.
Compared to this one, the Woolies at Burwood is clean, neat and has friendly staff.

Always packed with stock everywhere, however this woolies open til very late so it is helpful.

why do people expect excellent customer service honestly people wake up at 6am in the morning to work at woollies they dont want to deal with salty and annoying customers. Its a dang SUPERMARKET stop releasing ur anger on the poor employees. Anyway, my personal experience with them theyre actually quite friendly people who were willing to help me look for things (sorry i dont even know where eggs are haha)

Sometimes very crowded with long queues. Once had a deli staff member give me a smart ass comment about using his bare hands to pick up the seafood because I asked for a bit more than what he had picked up. Incredibly arrogant!!

The produce is alright. I've had no problems so far...

It's an okay Woolies and open till late everyday.
Only thing is, the drinks area always full of unpacking boxes, makes people hard to walk by.

Worst customer service. Even the manager - Andrew does not really care about the customer's satisfaction.
My husband bought a cigarette with an Indian guy at the counter who was very busy checking out other girls and busy chatting. The guy gave him a wrong cigarette in spite of mentioning it twice.
We walked home and then realised it. So went back to the store and a lady at the counter refused to exchange it as it is against the so called "law of alcohol and Tobacco" that once you leave the store, goods cannot be exchanged or refunded.
We then called the store manager - Andrew - who was a dick. He kept on arguing and repeating the law of tobacco and alcohol and refused to exchange the cigarette even though It was his employees' fault. He was very rude and the most annoying manager I have ever seen my entire life. He blamed it on us the whole time and did not apologise on behalf of his employee. Never going to that store again.

Actually no rating for serviced checkout. I was there for chicken and an Indian guy at serviced checkout had fast checkout as if he was about to win olympic gold medal. And finally he handed me other stuffs and no chicken. I realised it when I was home at Lidcombe. That was a very poor customer service.
