Woolworths Warringah Mall (Brookvale)

Really big Woolworths with a large range. The fresh food area is particularly nice.

Assistances there are so nice.

Tried to phone them 3 times and number rang out. Not great service!

Today I got approached by their Mgr to see if I needed assistance to find items. Very impressed. Staff are very attentive.

Being an early shopper not always a good idea!! This morning not one checkout open!!!! All the people waiting over 70. Assisted through self serve difficult, things rushed and not packed properly. Wake up old people need a bit of help not rushed through like we all where this morning. Keep this up and we will spend our money elsewhere . Unhappy.

On 1 Feb I visited the newly renovated store for the first time. I want to say I was extremely impressed by the layout and quality of produce - in my opinion, clearly the best available on the Northern Beaches. Shopping here was a great experience until... I reached checkout 11 at 4.28 pm. The checkout woman was happily in conversation with the customer ahead of me when she started to process my items with his, even though the divider was there. She was distracted. She realised her mistake and commented to me "oh, they're yours aren't they"? to which I said "yep" and continued to talk with my husband. Well, obviously that was the wrong response in her mind. She interrupted me again, saying "I said I was sorry" to which I replied "yes, I heard you, thanks" and smiled. This enraged her even more. Once the customer ahead had left, she threw the divider down the conveyor belt over the top of my groceries then flung them in the bags in haste, clearly flustered and angry with me, or herself, I'm not sure whom... She did not ask me if I had a Woollies rewards card so I paid the bill by debit card and off we went. When I spend nearly $125.00 in your store I expect to be treated with respect upon leaving. I do not expect to be treated as an inconvenience by a checkout operator. There are plenty of people in our area who would love the opportunity to work for Woollies. That miserable old hag needs to be either retrained or moved on. I'm sorry I didn't take note of her name, but to say she was short and overweight with bleached-blonde hair would be an accurate (though, I'm sorry, unkind) description , should you wish to identify her and discuss this matter further.

The staff are friendly, they will always do their best to help you, even if they don't know where an item is or what brand of polenta you're after.
