I’ve been going to this practice since it first opened. I had excellent care up until both my doctors left about 2 years ago. I’ve since seen 2 doctors who made decisions about my health WITHOUT EVEN EXAMINING ME. One even said “ I’m only a GP”. Well yeah that’s the point! . You’re supposed to be my first port of call. One told me any symptom I have due to a physical impairment is because I’m overweight, appparently she says that to everyone. No nurse meetings, no care plans, no pharmacist visits, it’s really gone down hill. I have found a new doctor as have 6 friends and aquatinces who have left due to being insulted by, or ignored by, or not being examined by or no being listened to by Doctors. “Free” healthcare shouldn’t equate to 3rd world healthcare.

Very difficult to get onto over the phone to make an appointment, either lines are busy or reception take a long time to answer. Waiting time is ridiculous, 2 weeks ago I waited an hour to see a doctor for a referral for a blood test, to then have to wait to have the blood test. This is unrealistic when having to wait with small children. One male Doctor in particular is especially rude, twice has made me feel so distressed after an appointment due to his rudeness. I was also told I did not have gestational diabetes with my first pregnancy, when it was discovered two weeks before I gave birth that I actually did and had to use insulin for the remaining weeks and had to delivery via cesarean. I will be looking for a new medical practice in the future.

As a student in the health industry I have to get vaccinations and serology's done to prove I am immune to a satisfactory level. I had a serology a few weeks ago to show if the hep b vaccination showed up but had heard nothing back and when I called the receptionist told me that I didn't have hepatitis b and that's why they didn't contact me. 1. I wasn't tested for the disease but rather if the vaccination showed in my blood 2. If I were being tested for the disease the patient should be informed either way 😳 3. I think better note taking should be done so the receptionists are more informed

Dr Sassi is great, down to earth, nice guy. Diana the Diabetic Educator n Nursing practitioner is really good aswell.

I see one of the best doctors I have ever been too. The staff is friendly and professional and the doctors are proactive and bulk bill anyone who has Medicare. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, however this usually doesn't last longer than half an hour.

The most pathetic medical centre I have ever been too.. The doctor was over a hour late due to her walking around the waiting room for no reason, she had terrible bedside manner, ignored everything I was trying to explain about my condition and misdiagnosed me... Not a very professional effort!

I've found Worrigee Medical Centre a competent, friendly and professional medical centre who care about patient comfort and privacy. I see Dr Magid and Dianna the diabetes educator and they're both FANTASTIC. So personable, they listen to you, use human judgement and compassion as well as having a a wealth of information. Dr Magid has been the best GP I have ever found in NSW, especially in a regional area, again he listens to me, really takes the time to listen, will work WITH you for the right treatment and actually cares about your wellbeing. I really can't say enough positive things about Dr Magid, Dianna and Worrigee Medical Centre. I've also never had any problems with language barriers, just to address earlier reviews.

I agree, English is not their best language they dont understand what your trying to say and they themselves cannot explain what they are trying to say. Husband and i have left this medical centre. They dont wish to see you if you are also using another medical practise and they want to charge us for sending our files to new doctors when its all done online these days. I believe what we are looking at here, is greedy owner/manager and all they are interested in, is bringing the same people back for test after test, you spend many hours there, firstly waiting and then seeing everyone they want you to see, absolutely pathetic. Its all about the money with this place.
