Yinarr Maramali is a Gomeroi women’s social enterprise based on country in Tamworth, that centers on personal and community wellbeing through the practice of weaving culture. Within a safe space women and girls learn weaving methods using natural and contemporary materials. Learning how our weaving is not about the finished basket, but rather its journey from story, connection, importance and purpose. Weaving connects us to who we are.
