Yoga Path For Wellbeing Description

The science of yoga holds not only the answer to man’s physical problems, but also offers a scientific way to transcend one’s problems and mental suffering. Ultimately yoga is about connecting mind, body and spirit. Moreover, yoga does not quarrel with any religion or faith and can be practiced by anyone who is sincere and willing. There is no vague doctrine involved. Even comparatively little effort will bring immense returns of knowledge, strength and peace.

GENERAL YOGA CLASS - Thursdays 6pm to 7: 30pm
A class suitable for everyone regardless of age or fitness level. Class includes: relaxation, asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation.

SENIORS YOGA CLASS – Mondays 9: 30am to 10: 30am
This is a gentle class suitable for seniors with an emphasis on relaxation; body awareness to improve balance, strength and movement; and meditation. Enjoy and experience the many benefits including feeling more energised and calm.
SHERWOOD NEIGHBOUR CENTER, 38 Thallon Street.
Classes commence Monday February 6. Join any time.


Cost: $15 for a class, First Class Free; Seniors and Students $10.
Bring: Yoga mat (or blanket /towel), small cushion, water bottle
Wear: Loose comfortable (preferably clothing cotton)
