This studio has a lovely vibe to it. The teachers have created a friendly community of smiling faces and the classes are excellent for all levels and a nice change of pace from heated fast paced classes that are so popular today. It caters for everyone no matter your age or where you are at physically. When I was pregnant I found it a great place to continue my practice in a cooler environment and the slow steady pace through mindful movement meant I could continue practicing most of the way through pregnancy. I will be checking out their post natal class soon.
Fantastic studio run by teachers that really know their stuff. If you are interested in expanding your practice and your knowledge of yoga in a safe and caring environment, then this is the studio for you. Enjoy :)
I have been a client of Yoga Sivana for five years and have experienced the evolution of a mindful, holistic yoga studio. Yoga Sivana has a great depth of practice across yin, hatha and flow, as well as special events and workshops. Great instructors who are truly committed to teaching and nurturing their clients.
Can't rate this zen haven enough. Great teachers who know their stuff inside out & teach yoga for your body, mind and soul. The classes are for all levels and it's just the most warm and welcoming place to get your yoga on. Love it!!
What an amazing studio - a home away from home. The teachers, variety of classes and environment is just a perfect mix. Such a beautiful community and one I keep going back to THANK YOU Yoga Sivana!
I had organised for a complimentary yoga session with my girlfriend today at 9.15am.
When I arrived , the officious teacher (Dagmar) would not allow me to do the class unless I paid for it. I explained that we were both there to trial a particular type of yoga and that the owner (I assume) had invited me for a complimentary session, as do most yoga centres in Mosman.
This fell on deaf ears and I was told no, I had to pay. So we both left without even trying the session because of the rudeness of the teacher.
Probably a good thing in my opinion.
