Yoga To Live Description

Yoga to Live enables you to get in contact with the authentic version of yourself. Each class consists of a vinyasa style yoga that not only strengthens your body but also your mind and spirit. Through incorporating the three main principles of yoga; breath (pranayama), gaze (dristi) and muscular locks (bhanda) around the joints, you will be taken on a journey of self discovery and unlock spaces in your body that may have tightened or all together shut down and sooner or later turn into to an injury or worse “dis”ease.
In class you should expect to get a good workout as we move with our breath “flow”, each class will have a theme and philosophical points to consider allowing more depth to occur than your average gym class. The second half of the class incorporates more static type Asanas (stretches) that allow these “pockets” of tension, which we store within our muscles to be noticed if not released all together. At the end of each class there will be a short meditation to re-establish stillness in our body and mind which our society so often forgets to do.
