Pretty terrible experience, after putting an expensive mens silver chain on layby, I purchased a nice silver necklace with a bird pendant for my girlfriend. I was promised "exceptional quality" from this silver necklace and was also promised a 12 month refund warranty, "if anything goes wrong, bring it straight back in and we will refund the full amount". After not even 4 hours of my girlfriend wearing it, the chain snapped. I rang up the next day to see if I could come in and get the refund however I was told to come the day after as the manager had taken an early mark, yet another inconvenience. So I take the necklace in to get the refund an the lady refused to refund it and start throwing all this legal terminology at me about their right to not refund. The best they could do for me was to send it to the jeweler and have him SOLDER it back together, a thin silver box chain with a solder joint in the middle!!?!! This was a gift to my girlfriend to help her through some tough times and that was how I was treated, the way the lady talked to me about the refund policy was very authoritative and demeaning which made me feel horrible.

After the dreadful experience I had there, I went to the Jacobs jewler upstairs where I shared my situation with a nice man who worked there, I was given a largely significant discount on a beautiful white gold and silver Italian necklace chain. Props to Jacobs for their empathy, will be returning there next time.

Absolutely disgraceful , I bought a engagement ring . My partner brought the ring it to get resized , she waited for 1 week and finally goes to get the ring and one of the incompetent staff wrote down the wrong size . Soo another week we wait , I'm nearly at the point of asking for a refund . This place is a F@*king joke
