I had the exact opposite experience to you all!! I also bought the $399 Spreets voucher, and yes at first it was difficult to get an appointment, but if you saw how many people bought that daily deal (I think it was over 2000) you can imagine why. I spoke to the staff on the phone, because I was going overseas and I couldnt get an appointment before I left because of how busy they were. They kindly told me that anyone who couldnt be accomodated with an appointment immediately, would only begin their '12 months of treatment' from the day they went in for their first appointment (as opposed to the day the deal became active). I've been a very happy client of Zensara since July of last year. I've just had my 6th treatment and I'm getting fantastic results.
From what I understand, and have seen, they have had a bit of a 'staff and culture' makeover. Their therapists are absolutely wonderful. My personal favourite is Shambrine. She is a lovely girl and super quick with laser, and never misses a spot. The manager Marcela and receptionist Susan also complete what is now a great team! I've been late to numerous appointments, but they always manage to accommodate and squeeze my treatments in without delaying other clients. I assure you all, they are there to help you. My brother is a client of the spa too and has had the business owner 'Arty' do his treatments many times for him. You will be taken care of!

I have had the same experience! Zensara are terrible! I also spent $399 on the Spreets voucher, but could not even manage to get a first appointment, after phoning numerous times and leaving several messages over a period of two months. I am now pursuing a refund through Spreets, who have also been a bit hopeless. Apparently they need to speak to Zensara first, but not surprisingly, Zensara never call them back. I've now lodged a complaint with the office of fair trading. Reading all the other reviews, I'm actually glad I never got an appointment. Steer well clear of this business..

Unfortunately I had the same experience at the Neutral Bay Zensara salon. The manager is really quite mean and unpleasant on the phone which should have raised the alarm, but I booked anyway because the Spreets deal seemed such good value. They cancelled my first appointment and stood me up for my next one, every review I’ve read cites a different excuse for cancelling. Mine was that all ten of the machines managed to overheat at the same time, others include that the owner’s staff are lazy and running late, that the customers before you are taking too long because they have poor pain thresholds, that the machines are being replaced or that the machines need a rest. Don’t know whether I prefer the excuses to be true or not, if they are then those machines sound pretty dangerous and I don’t want to use them anyway. I found trying to negotiate my appointments and my refund with the owner quite upsetting, in the end I called the Office of Fair Trading and asked them to try and get my money back so I wouldn’t have to deal with him again. They sorted it out for me and got my money back in less than a fortnight.
