They now charge 30cents for any card transaction. Their defence was they have no minimum and that everyone else the area also charges for Eftpos and PayPass. I live in the area and no other business charges for these services. They then went on to bag Lashings (the other local chicken shop) claiming they charge a 50cent surcharge for a preference on 1/4 chicken, I can't confirm or deny this, but they don't have any card fees. Although this is a trivial amount of money, enough to persuade me to go to Lashings from now on.
