Thank you to everyone who has donated goods for our farmers so far!!! Today we dropped a delivery off to the Toukley Lions Club who will be putting together hampers with gift cards for the farmers. Unfortunately I won't be back and it was a favorite for all my family members, I have a onion allergy which I understand is a hard one and always try to order something simple to avoid any issues, this is the third time strike because same thing has happened twice before this night, I made a point of showing the lady at the till what I wanted and was very clear I'm allergic to onion which she said she would let the kitchen know, my meal came out wrong to start with so meanwhile my whole table ate and finished before I even got mine, second came out with jus on it which it doesn't say it has it on the menu of which I had to send back because it would have had onion in it, the chef was angry at this point open kitchen isn't always a good thing, we asked to talk to chef of which the restaurant manager came out and I complained and we did get a refund but I shouldn't by that point have had to ask to see her, please train your staff about allergies it's easy to roll your eyes but I should be able to go out and enjoy a meal with my family and not get sick from it. So be careful if u have allergies I'd be asking for a copy of the receipt when ordering.
