Alpha Hotel Canberra

Convenient to facilities in Tuggeranong however the rooms are older and bathrooms very dated.

Staff were freiendly and casual, wide breakfast selection, rooms are a good size with appropriate facilities.

Clean room, friendly staff. It's not going to knock you out of the park as far as value for money goes (it is Canberra after all), but it's a decent place to stay if you're staying in the South.

The room was a reasonable size with confortable beds. The location was close enough to areas where you could walk or catch an Uber to. Good service where beds are made for you just like a standard hotel and hassle free check-in/check-out.

unfortunately very disappointing,
I usually don't leave bad feedback but I was really disappointed with one of the staff members after we had told her that the room was dirty and I was uncomfortable with how it was all she could say was ok very rudely not even an apology or even seem sympathetic about the problem which made me feel even more uncomfortable about my stay,

I wasn't expecting anything except and apology and my room getting cleaned,
I even made sure I had said it to her when no one was around not wanting people to know or feel uncomfortable but she clearly did not care.

Decent and clean rooms, friendly staff, good break fast, free wifi, 20 mins from the city and very close to the shopping mall. Perfect place for a few nights

We stayed for my son's wedding. The hotel was lovely and very accommodating. They made everything easy.

My wife and I with our 4 kids stayed here, along with my parents. Rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Great prices. They have a nice gym and spa. Staff deserve a congratulations, Trish was amazingly helpful and friendly, making us feel comfortable and at home there. The kids enjoyed it and everyone was happy. Whenever we're in Canberra, this is the place I'm staying. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for business. Was great having on site parking, wifi was good for business use, the staff were extremely friendly, the air con kept me nice and warm on a very cold night. Overall a great stay, would highly recommend and will definitely return. The room was spacious and really nice.

Good practical hotel in Greenway. A bit tucked away so far from traffic noise.

Try to book directly to access promos and discounts.

A few of the rooms don't have external windows (looking out to the internal breakfast area instead) so if you're particular about that sort of thing, ask to be assigned a different room.

They serve breakfast but can't speak to the quality since I didn't have any.

The Alpha hotel in Canberra provided a lovely comfy place to stay while we visited the city. The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the staff were helpful.

Dodgy hotel group. The GM and owner is inconsiderate, and isnt a fair guy. He refuses to provide a Statement of Employment in the correct format. The Front desk manager refuses to assist employees in any way possible to maintain an atmosphere of fear-- to reflect the will of the GM. Staff are horribly treated which results in them treating customers badly.

The hotel would hire staff with less or without experience but also refuse to train them properly and sack them within a few weeks of making understandable mistakes. Sloppy management like this never fails to go unnoticed and word should spread out very quickly bringing out a negative image for the group.

Rooms are basic room 136 has very very limited hot water. Walls and roof are thin as you will hear the people above you and beside you.
