Rebecca's antenatal yoga classes were always a great and refreshing start to my weekend. Her very relaxed, calming and genuinely interested approach to yoga and pregnancy made me feel very welcomed and confident in the classes. The poses and relaxations were fluid and helped to me to internalise; be more in touch with, listen to and connect with my own body and baby. The classes were very sociable as well; at times you work with others to achieve some of the poses, and there are regular opportunities to share celebrations and issues relating to pregnancy. Rebecca also facilitated the opportunity to meet with other pregnant women after the session which helped in getting a very rounded experience. I would highly recommend this class to pregnant women.

I'd highly recommend this class. In my case, I had been going to yoga prior to finding out that I was pregnant and had really enjoyed the class but upon becoming pregnant I felt like I no longer had the physical ability to attend that class and I also didn't like the idea of being the only 'preggers chick' there, so I signed up for prenatal yoga. All yoga classes are are very different, and at first I found this class to be very different compared to what I had previously experienced (i.e. less physically challenging, and quite frankly initially it felt plain odd to be in a room full of pregnant women, with most of them sporting baby bumps much larger than my own) but I soon found the class to be invaluable. What I liked most about the class was that it really was a place of refuge and healing during the often overwhelming times of pregnancy. The teacher Rebecca is excellent at managing the class and providing a nurturing environment - you won't feel embarassed at all about things like needing to go to the toilet in the middle of a routine, needing to snack during the class, or needing to stop and take a break. Rebecca is even nice enough to provide snacks for you! It's an easy-going and supportive environment that will leave you feeling calm and positive about your pregnancy. Another great thing about the class is that you get the chance to chat and network with other pregnant women, which is a great support, especially if none of your friends have been through pregnancy yet. Although there have been times that I have wanted the class to be a little more physically challenging, all in all I have enjoyed the class so much that I'd even go as far as to say that I can't imagine what my pregnancy would be without it. Thank you, Rebecca, for your commitment to helping women such as myself to have a positive and happy experience of pregnancy.
