Reviews
Get what you pay for. Its cheap clean friendly. But small. Shiw and toilet is like and airplane but it as i said cheap. Haapt with my stay
Budget and will suit the needs of a roof, bed and shower. All you need and don't expect much. Not badly priced.
As far as cheap accommodation goes, this is really good value. Small but clean rooms. The reception staff are excellent - friendly and only too willing to be of assistance. I would definitely use them again.
Stayed at Ibis for 3 days. The service was amazing. Really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are not too bad. Was staying on the 2nd floor of the hotel. It does not have lifts at the hotels which can be a problem for elderly folk. The cleaning staff comes daily to change the towels for you. They have only body soaps and no toothpaste in the room. Rooms have air conditioning and heating to use at your discretion. They do have continental breakfast in the morning from 7am to 9:30am daily.
The overall experience was ok with the hotel. We had some difficulty initially to book the room but then called up the hotel and get the room booked. The best part is that it has bunk bed in the room and the kids just loved it.
The room was No different from a prison cell...other than the fact that I paid for it.
What an aweful place. Dirty, run down, the security room door was hanging loose. Torn carpet, TINY plastic portable bathroom, heater didn't work..so naturally we froze. Terrible beds and linen. Everything in the room was broken!!! Utterly dismal. Shocks me they are changing for this. Far from anything. Pay the extra 40 dollars and stay somewhere clean, central and decent. A BIG mistake. Even a hostel would be a MUCH better choice. 1 star is definitely a compliment.
The cheeper price is one of the only good things about this place. Rooms are small and the heater in mine didn't work (in the middle of winter seriously). There was no curtains or blinds to block the light coming from the street. The night I stayed there it was extremely noisy. I don't know what they were banging on because there wasn't any cupboards. Having said that the customer service I was excellent and the staff were friendly.
Cheap rates, room are small but clean and tidy... Good for couple or singles but not for family not much space to move around. Heating in the room is just right. It's cheap rates and cleanliness, may I go to this place, if need to go Canberra again.
The roome is good value for money. Nice and clean bed, sheet and quilt. Two towels are provided when you check in. A range of tea and coffee for your convenience. No hair dryer. Must request at front desk. The bath room is too small. Water from the shower got everywhere when you took a shower due to the lack of a glass door or curtain. Location is quite OK though there is no shopping nearby. Must go to the nearest suburb (Dickson) for dinner. Overall, it was a good experience staying at ibis budget hotel.
I don't like this hotel one bit it is so hot at night tiny toilet and shower 100% do not recommend
Definitely worth the price. Nice, clean-ish room with everything you need (coffee ;) ) and a very comfy bed.
Decent location and they were able to find me last minute accommodation for the night.
The lady from India at the front desk was very nice, but the other guy next day did not even greet the customers. The room was very tiny and there were lots of spider's web around the room. No towels, no toiletries and extremely tiny toilet. As soon as we arrived we saw a folder on top of the coffee table with information about Canberra. Inside there was a drawing of a cross and a black widow spider, very creepy. As a woman, and after seeing the drawing and the webs, I couldn't sleep well those two nights that we stayed there. The carpet around the accommodations was always very dirty. Won't stay here again!
