Canberra Railway Museum (Permanently Closed)

Had a great time exploring the museum. Plenty of carriages and trains to walk through. The volunteers were extremely helpful and informative. I hope the museum re-opens (and stays open) soon.

Great place to bring small children. The trains are great and the people working there obviously love their trains and will take the extra time to talk to you about them. Great family place for a picnic.

Thank you to all the Volunteers and Canberra Railway Museum for the fabulous time we had at our visit on Canberra Day 2016, with the theme of 103. All the members were friendly and helpful, delicious morning tea in old carriages. Our Grandchildren had a great time with rides on large and mini trains, not to mention lucky dips, and showbags. Looking at the trains being restored was very inspiring, Grandchildred were amazed at the old sleeping cars and drop down basins. We even had a dance in the dance car. 5 Stars Lilian & Bob Lemon
